The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force made an arrest Wednesday night following a traffic stop on Jackson Avenue and a search of a residence in the Town of Union. 30-year-old Edward J. Blatchford of Endwell was arrested for felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and several misdemeanors. Blatchford is alleged to have had three grams of heroin, A small amount of meth, pills, marijuana, and drug packaging materials. Blatchford was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property from Orange County, New York. Blatchford was arraigned and remanded to the Broome County Jail without bail.
