The Broome County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim in last Thursday’s fatal motorcycle accident on Interstate 81 in Kirkwood.
According to police, 23-year-old Vestal resident Maxwell L. Kintner was killed during the accident which involved three motorcycles on Interstate 81 North near Mile Marker 1.
Two other victims were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Broome County Sheriff’s Accident Reconstruction Unit was on the scene and the accident is still under investigation, but the initial findings show speed was a factor.
