The 31st annual CHOW Hunger Walk drew hundreds of people to Binghamton University on Sunday. Money raised from the event goes to the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse, or CHOW, which gave out more than 700,000 free meals last year to those in need. According to CHOW, over 33,000 people in Broome County alone are living in poverty, and the organization has 30 food pantries and 30 soup kitchens across the county.
