New York State Police at Whitney Point and a member from the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit responded to a Whitney Point school bus that went off the roadway on Pendell Hill Road in Nanticoke this morning.
An 8-year-old child was on the bus and was evaluated on scene but not transported. The bus driver, a unidentified 56-year-old female, was transported to UHS Wilson Hospital for complaint of pain. An unidentified 37-year-old female bus monitor was transported to Binghamton General; she sustained a cut to her head.
No other vehicles were involved.
