The Canton man who was sent to jail on $1.5 million bail following a police chase at the end of last month is now facing additional charges. 44-year-old John Gundaker of West Main Street is now being accused of making threatening remarks to a police officer. After he was taken into custody, Gundaker allegedly looked at an officer while at Robert Packer Hospital and told the officer, “You’re mine. I know where you live. They can’t hold me forever.” While he was taken into custody, Gundaker also ripped the handles from the doors of a patrol vehicle and spit all over the dividing window before police eventually fit him with a spit hood. He is now facing charges of making terroristic threats with intent to terrorize along with another charge of disorderly conduct. Gundaker was at Robert Packer to be treated for injuries he sustained after he crashed his car following a police chase on April 26th in Canton. He is due in court Wednesday afternoon, and remains in the Bradford County Correctional Facility until that time.
