Canton man sentenced to Bradford jail term, probation and license suspension in DUI case

(Towanda, Pa.) – Bradford County District Attorney Albert C. Ondrey reported two Canton men’s criminal cases were resolved lately in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda.

  • Philip R. Finogle, 32, of Canton, was sentenced to fines of $100, plus court costs, for the offense of harassment, summary. Officer Andrew Whitehead of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Finogle for the offence on August 11, 2021.
  • Timothy Davis, 24, of Canton, Pa., was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 90 days, followed by probation supervision for a term of 4 years 9 months, and County Intermediate Punishment for 24 months, fines of $2,800, plus court costs. He will lose his driver’s license for 30 months, plus an additional license suspension of 12 months will be imposed for refusal to submit to testing when arrested, for the offenses of Driving Under the Influence, misdemeanor, and Driving Under the Influence, felony 3. Troopers Brett Cohen and Ryan Joyce of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Davis following investigation of incidents in Canton Township and Canton Borough on December 16, 2021, and January 6, 2022.
