A Bradford County judge has sentenced a Canton man to life in prison for the murder of his girlfriend. 28-year-old Michael Housewert was sentenced after pleading guilty to the murder of Michelle Inch in January of this year. Inch’s body was found in Schrader Creek following a region-wide search effort.
Housewert is also on trial in Lycoming County for allegedly breaking into Michelle Inch’s parents home, tying them up, and setting their house on fire. The parents of Michelle Inch managed to escape safely from the burning home.
