The Arctic League is looking for the perfect Christmas tree for its annual broadcast.
The tree must be between 10 and 12 feet tall and come from Chemung County.
The deadline to apply is Friday. Arctic League board members will review the submissions on Nov. 18th and cut down the tree on Nov. 25th.
The applicant whose tree is selected will be a special guest at the Arctic League’s live broadcast at Mandeville Hall inside the Clemens Center on Sunday, Dec. 1st. The broadcast will run from 10 am to 1 pm on 94 Rock and WELM.
If you have a tree you would like the Arctic League to consider, contact board member Tom Seem at 202-253-3207 or by email at [email protected]. Provide a description of your tree, where it’s located and your phone number.
