The Butcher’s Son in Corning recently won a major statewide award.
The local restaurant won the 9th annual New York Beef Council’s Best Burger competition.
The Butcher’s Son beat out nine other restaurants across the state for the honor.
The winner was announced at the state capitol in Albany during a proclamation of May as Beef Month in New York.
The Butcher’s Son is located at 127 West Market Street in Corning.
R&M on Market Street in Corning was also a finalist for the award.
