Samual Munson, 39, of Pine City died following a snow machine accident in the Town of Southport, Chemung County.
The victim’s family reported him missing at about 1AM Sunday morning after he failed to return from a ride.
A search found a hole in the ice of a nearby pond.
Munson’s body and snow machine were recovered from the pond.
An investigation into the accident is continuing.
