Chemung County is restarting an Adopt-A-Highway program where residents and businesses can help keep the county clean.
The county is looking for individuals, businesses and organizations to adopt a section of the highway and commit to keeping it litter free through regular clean-up activities.
Participants will be recognized for their efforts with a sign displaying their name or organizations at their adopted section of the highway.
All necessary supplies, including safety vests, trash bags and gloves will be provided by the county.
