The Corning boys bowling squad captured the 2024 New York State Division I championship last week in Syracuse.
The Hawks rallied from the fifth place spot after the opening game to win the state title over Victor.
This is the second straight year a team from Section IV won the boys bowling state title as the Elmira Express won the crown in 2023.
During the state tournament, Corning’s Cameron Kennedy rolled a perfect 300 game to provide another highlight for the Hawks.
