Corning man facing drug charges

A Corning man was arrested last week for allegedly possessing and selling fentanyl.

According to WENY-TV, 53-year-old Sean L. Murray has been charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and conspiracy in the fourth degree.

Corning Police arrested Murray following an investigation into the ongoing sale of fentanyl.

When Murray was arrested, he was already out on pre-trial release for other high-level narcotics charges.

He was arraigned on the new charges and released.
