Corning native McNaney, West grad Tillman help Maryland reach lacrosse Final Four

Corning native Logan McNaney recorded 11 saves to help the Maryland men’s lacrosse squad beat Duke and reach the NCAA Final Four.

McNaney and the seventh seeded Terrapins rallied to beat the No. 2 Blue Devils to reach the Final Four for the third time in four years.

Corning West graduate John Tillman is the head coach for Maryland.

McNaney, Tillman and Maryland will take on Virginia in the national semifinals on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The game will be shown live on ESPN2.
