The alleged get-away driver involved in the incident that left a Chemung County Sheriff’s Investigator seriously injured was back in court on Monday.
According to WENY-TV, the defense attorney for Fatiuana Massaline asked the judge to reduce her bail, but that request was denied. The suspect’s bail is still set at $500,000.
The court set an attorney’s conference for the case on July 22nd.
Massaline has pleaded not guilty to charges of assault on a police officer and recklessly causing serious injury with a weapon.
She has been charged alongside Dominick Haley after they allegedly injured Sheriff’s Investigator Mike Theetge during a shoplifting incident back in March.
