An Elmira business was destroyed by a fire on Friday night.
The fire started just after 9 p.m. on Friday at McDonald Contracting on South Kinyon Street.
Firefighters from the City of Elmira, Southport, Elmira Heights and West Elmira battled the blaze.
According to WENY-TV, no one was inside the building at the time of the fire. The building was a total loss, and the company lost a significant amount of equipment in the fire.
McDonald Contracting said they will remain open despite losing their building in the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
