The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a 32-year-old Elmira man following an investigation in the Town of Southport.
According to police, Klarc D. House has been charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony, and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th Degree, a Class E Felony.
On July 18, Deputies from the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol were dispatched to the area of Sagetown Road, in the Town of Southport, for a suspicious condition. During the preliminary investigation conducted by Deputies, a stolen 1996 Mazda Miata and a stolen 2021 Super Lite camping trailer were located at the address.
House was arraigned by Southport Town Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
