One man was arrested in connection with the shooting under the Allen-Berry Bridge in Elmira that sent two people to the hospital last week.
According to the Elmira Police Department, 25-year-old Tyjai Vansickle of Elmira was arrested after an investigation into the shooting which took place on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
Vansickle has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a Class C felony, and is expected to face more charges in connection with the shooting.
The suspect was remanded to the Chemung County Jail.
