An Elmira man is facing charges for allegedly possessing child porn.
According to Elmira Police, 32-year-old Jonathan L. Stallings has been charged with felony counts of promoting and possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.
Tips that were sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children sparked the investigation.
The tips indicated that an Elmira resident had uploaded child porn to the internet and shared it on a social networking platform.
Police executed a search warrant in Elmira in February and Stallings was arrested on Friday, March 28.
