The Elmira Police Department has arrested a man after he allegedly stabbed two people on Sunday.
According to police, Bruce Jones has been charged with second degree attempted murder and assault.
Police responded to the 200 block of West Chemung Place at around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday for a report of a stabbing.
A victim was located with a life-threatening injury to their neck. They were taken to the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre and is listed in stable condition.
A second victim with minor injuries to their face and hand was located. They were taken to the Arnot Ogden Medical Center for treatment.
