The City of Elmira Department of Public Works has announced that a paving project will begin next week.
Milling will be completed from Monday, July 8th through Friday, July 12. Paving of the streets will be done from Wednesday, July 10th through Tuesday, July 16th. Rain delays will move paving to the following day.
The project will take place on Market Street through Lake Street to Madison Ave.
Park Place through Clinton Street to Washington Ave. and Woodlawn Ave. through Clemens Center Parkway to Davis Street.
All residents and business owners located on the streets impacted will be notified by crews of the exact dates that the milling and paving will begin.
