The Elmira Police Department has announced the arrest of an Elmira teen for allegedly setting his house on fire with three family members still inside.
The first started on the 500 block of Pennsylvania Ave. at around 7 p.m. on Thursday. Police say investigators from the Elmira Fire Department determined the cause of the fire to be suspicious.
Elmira Police arrested 18-year-old Edwin Bennett for arson, which is a felony.
