Elmira police are reaching out to the public for information after someone fired shots in the city overnight. Police were called to a report of gunshots in the area of West Gray and Walnut streets a little before 2:30 a.m. Saturday. They found evidence that at least one round was fired. No injuries have been reported at this time, and there haven’t been any arrests. If you have any information on the incident, you’re asked to call Elmira police at (607) 271-HALT.
