Kimani Meadows Sentenced to 25 Years to Life for December Murder

40-year-old Kimani Meadows of Elmira has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for the December murder of Robyn Roper of the Bronx. Roper was shot five times and left for dead on the side of a road. Between the time of the Roper murder and his arrest six days later, Meadows had shot and seriously wounded Sean Hamilton at a residence in Elmira. Hamilton was hospitalized for two months. Meadows was sentenced to 25 years for the Hamilton shooting. The sentences will be served consecutively.
