West Elmira Police are asking the public for help as they continue to search for a bank robbery suspect. Police say a man walked into the Elmira Savings Bank on Church Street around 5 o’clock Friday evening. He’s accused of showing employees a handgun and demanding cash.
The suspect got away with an unknown amount of cash. He was last seen running east on West First Street. Anyone who has information is asked to call the police at 607-737-2933.
