A Georgia man was arrested in connection with the burglary at Curly’s Chicken House in Horseheads on Sunday night.
According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old Christopher T. Brown was charged with burglary in the third degree, a Class D felony, after he was recognized by an Elmira police officer in security camera footage.
Brown was arrested by Elmira Police on Wednesday on unrelated charges and then taken into custody by the sheriff’s office.
According to police, the suspect confessed to the burglary.
