Joseph Upham, 24, entered a guilty plea Monday to manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of a crash.
Police say Upham ran away after crashing a car into a home on State Route 14, Millport last November.
He now faces at least six to 12 years in prison.
He is currently being held in Chemung County Jail.
He will be sentenced in August.
