A nationwide basketball tournament is coming to Corning and Elmira over the next two summers.
Corning’s Gaffer District and Elmira Downtown Development have announced that the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament will be held in their communities.
The Gus Macker Tournament, which started in 1974 and tours the country each year, will be held in Corning on July 21st and 22nd this summer. The event will be held in the Corning Credit Union parking lot.
In 2025, the tournament will be held in Elmira with the dates and location to be announced in the future.
