The cheer squads from Horseheads and Elmira each won sectional titles to qualify for the New York State Competitive Cheerleading Championships.
Horseheads won the Class B championship, while Elmira won the Class A crown.
Both teams will compete in the state championships on Saturday, March 2 at Binghamton’s Visions Arena.
