Longtime NASCAR driver Kyle Petty will be visiting Corning this week as part of his 29th annual Charity Ride Across America.
The motorcycle ride started on Saturday in Traverse City, Michigan and will finish in Hot Springs, Virginia on Friday.
On Wednesday, the riders will go from Niagara Falls, New York to Clyde before making the 57-mile journey to Watkins Glen International. They will wrap up their day with a 17.6-mile ride to the Radisson Hotel on the Denison Parkway in Corning.
Fans are invited to stop by the Radisson for an event starting at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to greet the riders as they arrive at around 3:45. No tickets are required for this event.
The charity ride raises money for Victory Junction, which is a camp founded in honor of Kyle Petty’s late son, Adam. The camp provides life-changing experiences for children with serious medical conditions.
