A man was injured during a motorcycle accident on Monday in Horseheads.
According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred on Veteran Hill Road at around 11:24 p.m. on Monday.
The investigation revealed that a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle was heading southwest on Veteran Hill Road when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the shoulder of the road, striking the embankment. He was ejected from the motorcycle.
The driver suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He was transferred to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre for further care.
The investigation into this crash is ongoing.
