The woman who was accused of injuring a Chemung County Sheriff’s Investigator was found guilty in Chemung County Court last week.
Fatiuana Massaline was convicted of assault of a police officer and second-degree assault following a four-day trial.
According to WENY-TV, the jury deliberated for a little more than two hours before coming back with a guilty verdict.
Massaline was driving the car that struck and injured the sheriff’s investigator on March 29, 2024.
She could face up to 15 years in prison when she is sentenced on May 19th.
