The New York State Police out of Horseheads have announced the arrest of an Elmira man for rape.
According to police, 29-year-old Theodore L. Pack III, has been charged with rape in the first degree, a Class B felony, unlawful imprisonment in the first degree, a Class E felony, and a misdemeanor count of assault in the third degree.
The arrest resulted from an investigation into an incident that occurred in the Town of Southport on May 31.
Pack was sent to the Chemung County Jail on $100,000 cash or $200,000 bond.
