A Lindley, New York woman and a Liberty, Pennsylvania man were arrested in Chemung County following a police chase that began in Pennsylvania and ended in a crash in Southport on Friday.
According to police, 43-year-old Jessica M. Neally and 22-year-old Nicholas A. Lowry were arrested in Southport and charged with possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree as well as unlawfully fleeing a police officer, resisting arrest and other related charges.
Police said they found a quantity of methamphetamine in the vehicle following the crash.
Neally was found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of Steuben County for bail jumping and possession of a controlled substance. Additional charges are pending in Pennsylvania.
