A small plane caught fire on Friday on a runway at the Hornell Airport.
According to the Hornell Firefighters Association, a plane’s cabin and engine caught fire while it was stopped on the north end of the runway.
The pilot was able to escape without any injuries.
Firefighters reported that the plane was leaking fuel as they worked to put out the fire.
The Hornell Police Department and Arkport Fire Department also responded to the scene.
