An orthodontist office in Elmira has closed its doors for good and is declaring bankruptcy.
Patients of Southern Tier Orthodontics learned on Thursday that the office is closing due to personal and financial reasons.
Orthodontist Jason Horn informed patients that they will have to seek care with another orthodontist and that he would send records to their new provider.
Horn also told patients that he would not be able to reimburse those who paid in advance due to the bankruptcy filing.
Ziff Law Firm said in a post on Facebook that anyone who has been financially impacted by this closure should immediately file a claim with the New York Attorney General’s Office.
