Two people are in critical condition following an accident on the Clemens Center Parkway in Elmira on Wednesday evening.
According to WENY-TV, the accident happened at around 5:50 p.m.
Police said two people were crossing the parkway when they were hit by a car in the southbound lanes near the Clemens Center.
Both people were taken to a local hospital and listed in critical condition.
According to police, the driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
