The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim in Friday night’s shooting at a birthday party in Southport.
According to police, 21-year-old Elmira resident J’Sean Williams was shot multiple times while attending his own birthday party at a residence on Richard Street.
Williams was taken to Arnot Ogden Medical Center, but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to call 607-737-2933.
