A home in Wiliwana has been deemed a total loss following a fire early yesterday morning. Fire investigators determined that that the cause of the blaze was a wood stove chimney. Five residents have been displaced and are receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.
A fatal fire in Kirkwood on Friday was also said to be the result of a wood stove chimney. You are reminded that regular chimney cleanings are necessary.
