Cornell Graduate Named To Head IRS

Just one day after removing IRS Commissioner Steven Miller, President Obama has already found a replacement. He has appointed Daniel Werfel as the new acting Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service. Werfel is a Cornell University graduate, and is currently the Controller of the Office of Management and Budget. He’s set to take over as acting IRS Commissioner on Wednesday, and will serve through September.
