35 different charities will split the over $500,000 that was raised at this year’s Dick’s Sporting Goods Open at En-Joie Golf Club in Endicott.
Broome County Community Charities will send anywhere from a few hundred dollars to $20,000 to each of the charities.
Those receiving money range from local service organizations that volunteered to park cars to high school groups that helped clean up after the tournament.
Youth golf programs are also receiving some of the proceeds, while the largest awards are going to the foundations at Lourdes Hospital and United Health Services.
