Drilling Rig Slides Down Embankment in PA

A portion of Route 6 in Bradford County was closed for most of Monday after a natural gas drilling rig slid down an embankment.
The 72,000-pound rig fell down on Friday when the chains holding it on a truck snapped.
It took nearly 8 hours to haul the rig back up the embankment near East Troy Monday. The Rathole Rig is used to drill holes for natural gas exploration.
No injuries were reported.
