Carl Edwards nudged race leader – and teammate – Kyle Busch out of the way on the final lap of yesterday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Richmond International Raceway to win his second straight race. As heard live on WEBO, Busch held on for second followed by Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne, and Kevin Harvick. Tony Stewart made his first start of the season after recovering from back surgery and finished 19th. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. won Saturday’s Xfinity Series race. Both series now head to Talladega for races next weekend.

The Binghamton Mets snapped a six-game losing streak with a 6-2 win over Erie at NYSEG Stadium yesterday. The B-Mets will start a series at home with Portland tonight. New York Mets General Manager Sandy Alderson will be in town tomorrow to deliver National League Championship rings to a few B-Mets.
