(Endicott, NY) – Endicott police are investigating a fatality in a house fire Wednesday at 100 Taylor Ave. in the Village. At 8:25 a.m., fire and police were dispatched to a report of smoke coming from a second floor window of the residence.
On-scene fire department personnel reported a working fire on the second floor and subsequently located a deceased adult inside the residence.
Broome County Coroner responded to the scene, as well as New York State Fire Investigators. The cause of the fire and cause of death are under investigation.
