Fire broke out at a manufacturing site in Kirkwood Monday.
Several fire departments were called to the blaze at Felchar Manufacturing Company on Corporate Drive. Firefighters say heavy smoke was pouring from the building when they arrived around 11:30am.
The fire was contained to one room, which the company uses to house running motors. It took about 10 minutes to extinguish the blaze but longer to ventilate the smoke out of the building.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
