State Police say a wanted man in the Town of Guilford pointed a shotgun at troopers Monday.
26-year-old Bradley Romano is accused of pointing a 16-gauge shotgun at troopers as they attempted to take him into custody yesterday afternoon.
Romano fled on foot and was caught after a brief chase.
He was wanted on a bench warrant for assault. The Chenango County man is now facing additional charges of menacing a police officer, criminal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Romano was sent to the county jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
