A Hornell woman was killed after crashing her mini-van into the back of a tractor trailer late Wednesday night.
It happened just before midnight at the Big Flats exit, 51A of I-86 eastbound. New York State Police say 39-year old Jennifer Buxton was killed on impact.
The driver of the truck, 39-year old Zhan Lin of Ontario, was not injured in the accident. He told investigators he was traveling at the speed limit when he felt the minivan slam into him. Troopers said they don’t think alcohol or drugs were involved.
