A man woke up to find two men in his bedroom attempting to steal his flat screen television.
It happened 1:30 a.m. Saturday along Cook Street in Ithaca. Police said the victim confronted the two men and asked them to leave. They instead demanded money and then punched him in the head and took off on foot with his cellular phone. Both suspects are described as black men, around 6 feet tall, in their mid 20s with muscular builds. One suspect had braided hair and was wearing a white tank top and pants. The other suspect has short or shaved hair and was wearing a red T-shirt and jeans.
