The man accused of this week’s fatal shooting in Ithaca has been identified as 26-year-old Corbin Whyte.
He lives in the Maple Hill Apartment complex, where 47-year-old Paul Garcia was found shot to death in a parking lot early Tuesday morning. Residents say the Bronx man was living with a woman in the complex and was seen arguing with another tenant.
Corbin was arrested Wednesday after at least one witness put him at the scene.
He was arraigned on a charge of second-degree murder and sent to the Tompkins County Jail without bail.
Corbin is scheduled to go before a grand jury Thursday.
