It’s a union of two towns…and it became official Wednesday. Code enforcement and building permits for village of Johnson City residents will now be handled by the Town of Union. Under this new joint arrangement, the Town of Union will issue building permits, electrical permits, plumbing permits and vehicle storage permits. Village of Johnson City residents may still file complaints at 729-2078.
